Splash On the Go | Hand Painted Animation
Hell bend on improving my animation skills I have been working on a Motion School course (With the one and lovely Ben Marriott) and on stage 2 I've been learning how to frame by frame a walk cycle.
Taking a little break from the work set I made the below! A quick 4 frame walk cycle where each frame is hand painted in acrylic:
I then added a scrolling background and floor to match the original digital version (on the right), which was made as a quick guide as to how I wanted the hand rendered version to look. This allowed me to save time and rescources as I had a worked through guide.

All in all this was such a fun off-shoot to the tutorial! I will for sure be making some more complicated versions in the future :)
