When it came to choosing a musician to work with I sent out a pitch of what I wanted to make, with some explanation, and asked for them to respond with whatever they felt would work.

From here I had some back and forth with three musicians, until I felt one piece was perfect and asked if he would like to be the lead musician working with me. From here I continued to evolve the animation, using a variety of sketches and scanned materials as the textures, along with stock images.
